Tennis Ball Guidelines
- Only one set of 4 tennis balls may be used on a court at any one time.
- After use tennis balls must be returned to the cupboard in the Gents Changing room. If other members are waiting to play the balls should be hung on the fence by the gate to the Astro-turf courts. Balls must not be left on court after play.
- Players are responsible for ensuring that a complete set of balls are accounted for after play. Balls must remain in their numbered groups and should not be mixed with other numbered balls.
- All tennis balls knocked out of the club grounds during a set must be retrieved on completion of that set.
- Juniors must not use numbered balls - these are for Senior, Intermediate and Student members only.
- Junior tennis balls are marked with a black spot and will be stored in tins in the Gents Changing room - not the cupboard.
- Juniors may take a maximum of 4 black spotted balls on court at any one time and must ensure they are returned to the Gents Changing room after use.
- Tennis balls must not be removed from the club premises.
Where it is seen that the above guidelines are not being observed, each club member should feel empowered to advise the offending individual or individuals and report the matter to a member of the Tennis Committee.
