Club Sessions
Friday from 1pm - 3pm

To book a place on the above club sessions please use the "Thistleworth Social Tennis" WhatsApp group. If you would like to be added to this group please contact John on 07511 886971. This is a great way to meet other members and play some organised matches with different doubles partners. See Social Tennis Guidelines.

Safeguarding
The protection and support of young people and vulnerable adults is of paramount importance at Thistleworth Tennis Club.
Any safeguarding concerns should be reported to the Club's Welfare Officer - Philippa Mukherjee.
Also, members should familiarise themselves with the clubs Policies and procedures.
Thistleworth 100 Club
For just £1.15 a week, less than the price of a cup of coffee, you can be a member of the 100 Club and have the chance to win prizes each month.

You can now pay by monthly standing order.
To join as an Adult member the fee is £25 per month - great value. Credit card facilities are also available.
Bridge & Table Tennis sessions
If you play Bridge or are interested in learning - come to Thistleworth any Thursday evening.

Additionally, we have a mix-in table tennis session every Monday from 8pm and on Saturday mornings for juniors. Membership is £60pa for adults and £30pa for juniors. Players are very welcome to attend a few free sessions before deciding if they want to join.
Thistleworth Tennis Club...
Thistleworth Tennis and Social Club operate an open-door policy to all members of the community, actively encouraging players of all ages and abilities to join, in addition to the tennis activities the club also hold regular social functions. We have about 260 local tennis members ranging from 4 to 80 yrs old.
How to join
We have various categories of membership – Senior player, Veterans (70+), Student or Junior (15&u). The club coach will advise you on what category is appropriate for you. We have an annual subscription plan with very competitive rates. New members can take advantage of various discounts that take place from time to time. Currently new members are offered £50 off the normal fee, a reduction of £10 is available to students and juniors.
What we offer
- 7 artificial grass courts (3 were resurfaced in 2023)
- 3 floodlit courts
- A structured coaching programme delivered by our LTA qualified coaches for juniors and adults – our coaching programme has received great feedback from players for its quality and enjoyment
- A friendly club atmosphere that caters for all ages and abilities
- Competitions / Tournaments run throughout the year for all levels of play
- BRAND NEW sets of tennis balls are provided by the club on a weekly basis – at no extra cost!
- 4 Men’s teams, 4 Ladies teams that compete for the club as part of the Middlesex Summer League
- Several teams competing in the Middlesex Tennis winter leagues
- Social play sessions at the weekends and mid-week
- An active Junior Section comprising of 30+ junior members
- Other activities such as table tennis and 5-a-side football is also available at the club
- A Large ‘child friendly’ grass area
- A fully stocked bar with function hall
- Regular club organised social events
All tennis coaches are LTA qualified and have a DBS check and first aid certificate. Coaching is available for all abilities and starts from the age of 4 years old; there is no requirement to be a member to book onto the coaching programme. Social events
The club holds monthly social events; these include dining evenings, film nights, BBQ's, quiz nights etc. These are well attended and available at a reasonable cost.

The entrance to the club is on the junction of Ridgeway Road North and St Mary's Crescent.
By Bus: The H28 bus stops outside the club.
By Train: The club is 5 minutes walk from Osterley Tube Station (Piccadilly line).
